CREST VIEW ESTATES HOMEOWNER’S ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING February 15, 2017 7:00 PM
Board Members present: President Roger Branch, Vice President Elizabeth Aguilar, and Secretary Shawna Fletcher. Architectural Committee Members present: Danny Larson and Juan Aguilar Meeting called to order by President, Roger Branch at 7:15pm. Treasure’s Report Treasurer, Bob McLaughlin was unable to attend. Treasury report will be presented at March HOA Board meeting. Architectural Control Committee (ACC) Discussion was held regarding the development of specific procedures for ACC submittals.
Juan Aguilar volunteered and is designated point person for the committee. He will coordinate communications between homeowners and ACC.
Community will be directed to submit requests directly to HOA Board via email at crestviewHOA@email.com, or via USPS to Crest View Homeowners Association, P.O.Box 3376, Parker, CO, 80134.
Upon approval of submitted request, ACC will provide a formal, signed approval letter to homeowner.
Any member of the ACC has authority to sign approval letter.
HOA Covenant Clarification and Enforcement A discussion of the ongoing HOA covenants clarification was held. Topics for discussion at the 2017 Annual HOA meeting will be communicated to homeowners ahead of time. The date of the annual meeting will be decided upon at the March HOA Board meeting, on March 22. It was decided that the process for covenant enforcement will be final drafted and submitted to the attorney for a legal review. Current enforcement policies of communities similar to Crest View Estates have been reviewed and will be considered in the development of the Crest View procedures. Bridal Trail/Easement Usage There was extensive discussion regarding the use of bridal trails and easements throughout the community. The HOA covenants specify use of bridal trails and easements are for equestrian and pedestrian use only. There is ongoing violation of ATVs being driven in these areas. To deter this activity, it was decided that signs indicating “no motorized vehicles” will be provided to homeowners upon request. The Board will make homeowners aware of the offer. Welcoming Committee A formal “Welcoming Committee” was created at the October HOA Board meeting. Committee members will meet prior to March Board meeting to develop this committees goals and formal plan. Crest View Community Directory It was decided the existing community directory will be updated, and made available on the HOA website. Meeting was adjourned at 9:00 pm.
