Board of Director’s Meeting

September 6, 2019

Board Members present: President Shawna Fletcher, Vice President Elizabeth Aguilar, Treasurer Roger Branch, and Secretary Gary Fletcher. Architectural Committee Members present: None. Members of the community present: Jeanie Branch

• Meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM

• Gary read the prior month’s meeting notes, which were approved into record.

• Treasurer’s Report: Roger read the Treasurer’s Report with a hard copy passed out to all members in attendance.

• Report was accepted and approved

• For details refer to Crest View Estates HOA Treasurer’s Report

• ACC Requests:

• New request from homeowner with submitted deck plans

• Will review

• County contacted the HOA, we did respond and acknowledged receipt

• Homeowner in violation

• Have begun painting the shipping containers

• Reported that 80% of county requirements are complete

• Is planning on putting a roof over the shipping containers

• HOA will hold off on further actions

• HOA to follow up with Noonan’s

• Potluck - 8/24

• Robbie Van Camp and Dionne Hutton hosted this year

• $350 was budgeted for food, have received receipts

• Community Garage Sale - 9/13-14

• Date: 9/13-14

• Friday-Saturday, 8AM – 2PM

• “Crest View Estates Community Garage Sale” sign ordered

• Shawna and Gary to make directional signs and place around Parker

• Will advertise in several locations, like Nextdoor, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.

• Annual meeting - 9/26

• Covenant control

• Will not mention names or specific issues

• Had complaints

• Followed new enforcement procedures

• What does the community want to do?

• Add fines? How much?

• May require special assessment to cover lawsuits

• Shawna to look into legalities

• Elizabeth to research what other communities are doing

• Tallman, Butterfield, Hidden Village

• Show exceptions

• Have had special assessments in the past

• Water rights review

• Easements review

• Elections

• Have openings on the board

• Will review Treasures report/budget

• Review Dumpster Day

• Turnout, fees/dues collected

• Repeat next year?

• Add metal collection, mulching?

• Garage sale turnout

• Shawna to bring snacks and water

• General year in review

• No new business
