CREST VIEW ESTATES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING July 12, 2017 7:00 PM
Board Members present: President Shawna Fletcher, Treasurer Roger Branch, and Secretary Annette Pelton. Architectural Committee Members present: Steve Cosper, and Shawn Spink. Meeting called to order by President, Shawna Fletcher, at 7:15pm. New members were given copies of the Crestview HOA Covenants and the By-Laws.
2017 Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting was discussed. Specifically, the Enforcement of Covenents and Rules. Pursuant to the discussion at the Annual Meeting, upon completion of the final draft, the document will be sent to all homeowners via US mail for a vote. The vote will be in accordance with the community governing documents.
HOA Dues
Per the bylaws, the HOA dues are payable on the first of the year. It was decided that the Board will send out reminders to all homeowners at the first of each year. Arrears dues were also discussed. It was decided there will be a friendly reminder letter sent to all homeowners in arrears for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Eastern Community Fence
The gate has been installed and 56 feet of fencing will be installed on each side of the gate. A utility survey will be obtained prior to the final fence installation. ACC Member, Steve Cosper, offered to drill the post holes for the fence.
3rd Annual Neighborhood Party
Invitation flyers will be emailed and sent to homeowners via US Mail in the next week by Secretary, Annette Pelton.
HOA Board Offices
The official Board Officer duties from our By-Laws were reviewed.
Treasury Report
The Treasury report was provided by Treasurer, Roger Branch. A reminder was stated that all information and books are open to all members of the community for review.
All members voted unanimously to move the Crest View HOA banking from Wells Fargo to Bellco Credit Union.
Community Garage Sale
The community garage sale was discussed, and it was decided to wait until September or October. Further discussion will follow. ACC Member, Shawn Spink, will head up the Community Garage Sale Committee, and will look into having a realtor sponsor for our event signage. It was suggested that the sale coincide with the Legend High School electronics recycling event, for convenience.
The August BOD meeting will be held on Thursday, August 24.
