CREST VIEW ESTATES HOMEOWNER’S ASSOCIATION

BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING

October 10th, 2019 7:00 PM

Board Members present: President Shawna Fletcher, Vice President Elizabeth Aguilar, Treasurer Roger Branch, and Secretary Monika Mazzullo. Architectural Committee Members present: Juan Aguilar. Community member: Gary Fletcher.

Meeting called to order by President, Shawna Fletcher at 7:25pm.

Treasurer’s Report

There have been $559.66 in expenses, leaving HOA balance of $17,330.18 as of Sept 30, 2019.

Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

Discussion was held regarding possible violation and informal complaints.

HOA Covenant Enforcement

There was an extensive discussion regarding covenant enforcement:

• Email from Gery Noonan was reviewed

• Elizabeth Aguilar shared results of her research

• Importance of consistency discussed

• Possibility of fines and liens discussed

• Elizabeth to research liens for next meeting discussion

• Roger to research fines for next meeting discussion

• Plan to research how similar communities enforce their covenants and any fine structures.

• Discussed how we might be able to assure future Boards of Directors will follow our policies about not policing the neighborhood.

Annual Meeting

A second Annual Meeting will be held once Board defines an effective way to enforce the Covenants.

New Business

Juan and Elizabeth requested that board meetings be changed to first Wednesday of the month.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:36 pm.
