The map above is the plat map of Crest View Estates (left) and the new Tallman subdivision (right) that is currently being sold out and built up.
As you can see, there is about 65 acres of open space zoned on the west side of their subdivision that borders the east side of Crest View. The Crest View HOA board is currently discussing ways we can be proactive about ensuring there will be no motorized vehicles (trucks, 4-wheelers, ATV's, motorcycles, dirt bikes, etc.) that attempt to access our roads from Tallman in order to make a short cut to the schools and/or trails to our west. We understand equestrian and pedestrian traffic will move between our subdivisions, but we are looking to reduce motorized traffic.
In addition to the screenshot above, there is also a link to the Douglas County zoning map where you can see this information for yourself online and get the acreage of each open space tract:
We hope the plat map helps provide an understanding of what the Tallman subdivision will be adding to our east in the near future.
See you on June 16 for the annual meeting!
