ANNUAL CREST VIEW ESTATES HOMEOWNERS MEETING

JUNE 28, 2016 – 7 PM

Greetings to our fellow Crest View residents:

Our last annual meeting was held on June 16, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church, with our HOA Board presiding. Officers for 2015-2016 are President - Roger Branch; Vice President - Elizabeth Aguilar; Treasurer - Bob McLaughlin; Secretary - Tom Vermilye

Members of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) are: Gery Noonan, Danny Larson, and Juan Aguilar.

We have a community website that was developed before last year’s annual meeting, in order for the community to be kept current on issues of interest to the Crest View community, as well as provide a place where annual meeting and HOA board meeting minutes can be easily accessed.

Happenings from the last year:

More solar lighting was added to the entrance sign to make it easier to see and read at night. The board is planning to have some landscaping started around the sign by the time of the June 28 meeting.
No Outlet sign installed above Crest View Drive street sign (as well as back of subdivision).
Updated By-Laws approved in 2015 meeting were officially filed with Douglas County.
Information regarding the proposed Excel power line expansion plan was obtained as it became available. Situation is currently being monitored and any new information will be passed along to the community.
Survey completed on Crest View’s eastern boundary (at end of all three roads) in preparation for stretches of fence to be installed. Fence should help deter motorized traffic that may come from a more complete Tallman development in the near future (since Tallman’s road will be open to through traffic).
Community party at Greenfields was a big hit!
HOA Board is discussing updating and clarifying Crest View’s covenants and Architectural Review Committee (ARC) guidelines.
Attorney was retained (Kathryn James with Folkestad Fazekas in Castle Rock) and is working with HOA Board to ensure covenant/ARC committee changes and/or clarifications are legal and correctly applied.

CVHOA ANNUAL MEETING – Tuesday, June 28, 7PM at Faith Baptist Church - Directions to Faith Baptist Church – 11150 Hilltop Rd, Parker, CO 80134 – East of Crest View Estates on Hilltop Road, just past the sharp curve where Hilltop turns into Flintwood. Take the first left past the sharp curve onto Hilltop. The church is on the right.

DUES REMINDER: Well it is that time of year; actually it is past that time of year. And yes, we are asking, again, that you pay that outrageous sum of $50 for annual homeowner’s dues!

In order to vote at the Annual meeting you will need to be a member in good standing (i.e. have paid those outrageous $50 dues for 2016!) If you have not sent your annual dues within 7 days of the June 28 meeting, please pay your annual dues at the meeting. This will avoid any confusion.
