June 2018 HOA Board Minutes

June 7, 2018 7:00 PM

Board Members present: President Shawna Fletcher, Vice President Elizabeth Aguilar, Secretary Annette Pelton. Architectural Committee Members present: Juan Aguilar, Steve Cosper, and Shawn Spink.

Community members present: Gary Fletcher, Gery Noonan.

Meeting was called to order by Shawna Fletcher at 7:09pm.

The May 2018 HOA minutes were read by the Secretary and approved with no changes.

Treasurer’s Report

Roger Branch was unable to attend the meeting and no Treasurer’s report was read.

Covenant Enforcement Discussion

A member of the community had questions about filing a complaint to enforce the HOA covenants and the process was discussed.

The Neighborhood Watch Program

Discussion was pended for additional information.

Fence on the Northern Boundary

Upon further discussion, it was decided that since there is nothing indicated in our Architectural Control and Protective Covenants that the perimeter fence is required, we will not force the homeowner to have the fence rebuilt on his property.

2018 Neighborhood Party and Annual HOA meeting

Elizabeth Greenfield is willing to host the party but wanted to make sure there were no other homeowners who wanted to host the party. The HOA will reach out to the church and request its availability for the annual meeting. Another option discussed was the Douglas County Library.

New Business

· The need for drainage ditch maintenance by Douglas County was discussed.

· The architectural committee has approved a new outbuilding on Crestview.
