Board of Director’s Meeting

April 18, 2019

Aguilar Home

Board Members present: President Shawna Fletcher, Vice President Elizabeth Aguilar, Treasurer Roger Branch, and Secretary Gary Fletcher. Architectural Committee Members present: Juan Aguilar and Steve Cosper.

Meeting was called to order at 7:20 PM

Minutes

Gary read the prior month’s meeting notes, which were accepted and approved.

Treasury Report

Roger read the Treasurer’s Report with a hard copy passed out to all members in attendance.

• 35 HOA members have paid out of 57 homes total

• Paid for PO Box

• Some envelopes with checks were returned, seemed to be addressed correctly

• Roger to review

• Report was accepted and approved

Dumpster Day

• Saturday June 15th or 22nd, 11AM-3PM

• 1st load (top of cab) free to members in good standing

• 2nd load $40

• Will order three 30 yard dumpsters @ $400 each

• Will need:

• Clip boards

• ID’s?

• Vests?

• Ability to accept dues

• Volunteers – at least 6

• Location: Devils Head Cul-de-sac

QuickBooks

• Could be used to keep records and simplify billing

• Juan has experience

• Roger to email Excel spreadsheet to Juan

Garage Sale

• Need more time to prepare

• Possibly August 9th-10th, Friday-Saturday, 8AM – 2PM

• Would need “Crest View Estates Community Garage Sale” sign

• Need pricing

• Would want to advertise in several locations, like Nextdoor, Craigslist, etc.

Insurance

• Juan has received a copy of the policy

• Currently have $1M liability, recommend $2-4M

• Juan to get quotes

• Currently pay $721 or $691 if paid per year

• HOA Executive Officers covered when acting on behalf of the HOA

Covenant Enforcement

Homeowner in Violation

• Shawna & Elizabeth met with attorney on 4/17

• Attorney will draft letter to Homeowner

• Will state that they need to comply or may sue

• Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (“CCIOA”)

• May not have to join

• Attorney will let us know our compliance obligations

• Next Meeting: June 13, hosted by Shawna & Gary
